2012-2013
In the past, I spent my adolescent time by being individual who liked to work alone. Yes, I sometimes did group works at school or university, but it made me feel miserable and not fully grown. I did it well within certain group mates which are not a lot in numbers. Somehow, that affects who I was and how I taught.
When I taught about it thoroughly, I realized that the conventional education method maybe had contribution to it. Its ranking system allowed slight portion of room for group work. The most important thing is getting the highest mark and everything would be considerably fine, no matter what.
However, meeting some talented educators, watching some great TV programs and reading some wonderful books during last couple years, have broadened my understanding. Like what BBC Knowledge said that great ideas are nothing unless they are shared. That is the beauty of collaborative work I suppose.
These are the main points I underlined happening in my last teaching and learning experience and will be gladly having in many years to come:

These are the main points I underlined happening in my last teaching and learning experience and will be gladly having in many years to come:
- Collaborative works are doable from the early stages of learning, even with those cute EY1s
- Differentiated instructions and learning; what is the point to teach a child how to run when he/she even can’t walk yet?

I also had a look through my last year Learner Profiles (LP)’s Goal Setting and could say that I have modeled the LP as mentioned below:
